Can I change a Membership ID?

Overview

The Membership ID cannot be changed once created. However, you can create a new Membership ID, and reassign each Member to the new Membership ID.  All Member data is preserved when reassigning.

Making a New Membership ID, then Reassign each Member

1. Click Manage

2. Click the the Yellow + to add a new membership ID

Find the patron you are reassigning

3. Click the Right Arrow to reassign patron

  • You are asked to specify a New Membership ID.  Use the Membership ID you just created.
  • If you are transferring multiple members, you must use the exact Membership ID.  We recommend copy and pasting to be exact.
