How to ENABLE and EDIT an EVENT
Overview
Once created, you may edit more event settings, such as the window for signing up, prices, and more.
In this article, we will find the event on the calendar, see event details, then manage events settings.
- On the Calendar Page, double click the event on the date is scheduled,
- The initial event details will appear
- On this screen, you may change who is the Event Owner. This person will get notifications about the event sign ups, if enabled.
- If event details are changed, remember to click APPLY CHANGES
- Click Manage Sign Ups to get to the event settings
- Signups control area
- Enable Patrons Signups turn the event sign up on or off
- Requires Membership add a box for patrons to add a membership ID or barcode from their passes to sign up
- Max Patron Signups will stop signups after the event is full
- Signup Opens sets a start date for signing up before the event start time
- Signup Closes sets a date to close sign ups before the event start time
- Fees area
- Cost for the event
- Several optional costs can be added, named, priced, and removed
- There are three service fee options:
- Percentage of event cost
- Fixed dollar amount
- Match AGS service fees (the exact payment collection fee on your account)
- Allow Other Payment adds a button for the patron to not pay online
- Patron will get a refund automatically if their sign up is cancelled
- The Event Owner will get an email when there is event activity
- Edit Terms and Conditions and other details to present to patrons
- If you want to apply one event's settings to another, copy the first event's settings, open the second and paste them
- Save Settings each time you make a change
