How to limit the number of times a product can be purchased
Overview
You can limit the number of each product that a patron buys each transaction.
Here is how
- In the Marketplace Management area, click the Products tab
- Click on the product you want to limit
- Change the value in the Max Buy Quantity field to the number of passes they can buy per transaction. Click the Infinity symbol to revert back to Unlimited.
Can I limit the number of guest pass tickets that are used each day?
At this time, the software is not able to limit how many guest passes a member can purchase or how many purchased guest passes can be redeemed.
If the community policy is such that each member can use a certain number of free guest passes every day, click here for an article about free daily guest passes.
The software has several tools to see how many passes were used. If the community policy limits the use of purchased guest passes, a manager can use these tools to review the data for breaches to the policy.
