How to process an application if it is a 2nd SUBMISSION

Overview

If you are a new client or a client that uses a new database every year, you may have a question if an applicant submits a 2nd application for the same address.     

Here is what happens

Most applications ask a question. Check here if this is your 2nd submission this year.  They may also write you a note.  

We hope that patrons use this check box and notes section to give us guidance.  Here is what it looks like when the patron completes the application.

Even if they do not check the box or give you a clue, the software will search for a common address.  Rather than creating a new membership, select the membership from the list and update the household.
