This articles is for ADMINISTRATORS whose users (staff members) need help resetting their password. This article will explain how to reset a generic user's password that uses a dummy email.
Where are user's managed?
Administrators can add, delete, edit, and manage users for their accounts via the Account Portal.
1. Once logged in, click Manage Account.
2. From the Account Portal, click Users.
How to reset a generic user's password
Some communities create one log in for all their staff. This way, the entire staff can share a log in.
1. Click the Gear Icon.
2. Click Change Password.
3. Write down the temporary password. (iboWbdMFaA1) You'll need it in a few seconds. Click OK.
4. Logout and then log back in using the dummy email and the temporary password.
5. You will be asked to create a new password. This is the password your generic user will use to sign in.
Click Change Password.

Note: It is OK to get a "Permission Error" after logging in as the generic user. You may be logging into an area the generic user does not have permission for.
