How do Paper Applications work?
Overview
When using the Application Portal, some communities offer a Paper Applicaton as an alternative to submitting online. This may be done for several reasons.
- For communities with an older population.
- If a community wishes to have an alternate "Privacy Applicaton".
- If a community usually mails a "News Letter". The Paper Applicaton doubles as a newsletter and instructions.
- If a community has strict rules on the online application but need a way for "Exceptions to the Rule".
- A strict patron count fee structure but need a way to add an "Unusual Patron" approved by management.
- A required question for 99% of the population but need a way for the 1% to submit an application without answering the required question.
How much do Paper Applications cost?
It is free for AGS to write your paper application.
There are 2 options for processing a Paper Application.
- Applications mailed to AGS. AGS will enter the information into the application portal. Applications are approved the same way online applications are approved. There is a $10 fee per submission. CLICK HERE to read how the patron can pay this fee rather than the community.
- Applications mailed/delivered to you. You will process the submitted application. There is no AGS fee ($0.00) for this option.
How do applicants submit a Paper Application?
Instructions are written on the Paper Applicaton. You have two options.
- Applications are mailed to AGS: Mail to: ACCESS GRANTED SYSTEMS, 11 BEE TREE MILL CT, PARKTON, MD 21120
- Applications are mailed/delivered to you: You can instruct your applications to deliver the application however you wish. Mail, drop off, signup day, email, etc.
How do Paper Applications appear in the Application Portal?
Paper applications appear with a red Pencil icon. 
How do patrons submit a payment if they are mailing the application to AGS?
Check. These instructions are included on he paper application AGS writes for you. Make check payable to: Access Granted Systems, LLC . This payment is credited to the community's account the same way online payments are credited to your account.

How to request AGS to write a Paper Application for free
Once your Online Application is finalized, ask your AGS Account Representative to create your Paper Application. We will create a PDF version that mirrors your online version, so they are easy to approve. The Paper Application can be posted on your Community Page and shared with your community via your current methods. A sample application can be downloaded at the end of this article.
