FAQ: What are my classic passes mailing options?

Overview

Communities that enable classic passes have three mailing options.  
  1. Print and mail directly to the members home daily
  2. Print and mail to management daily.  
  3. Print and mail to management upon request.
Note: New accounts are setup with option #1, print and mail directly to the members home, by default.  

How quickly are passes mailed to management upon request?  

Passes are mailed within 48 hours of the request.  Passes are shipped 2-3 days ground shipping.  Please allow up to ten (10) days for the entire process.  If you community is having a "Pickup Day", please make your request ten (10) days prior to the pickup day.    

How do I trigger or request AGS to mail the passes to management? (option #3)   

1.  Click the menu then Manage Passes.

2.  Click Request Bulk Mailing.   
3.  Select your community.  
4.  Click OK.   
5.  Click Confirm Mailing.  

Notes
  1. You may also email your account representative and they will trigger the mailing.  
  2. The next section shows you how to update your mailing address.  

How do I switch between Direct to Members and To Management on Request? 

Important: If you need help with this process, contact your Access Granted Systems account representative.  Admins can view and switch mailing options within the pass printing portal, but we are happy to check your settings to ensure the switch is made.    

1) CLICK HERE for the article on learning how to edit your pass design.  The setting for Bulk Mailing and the address will be on the Physical Card design area. 
2) After opening the designer, scroll down to the Physical Card section.
3) Check or uncheck Bulk Mail Passes to Community (on Request).
4) Enter your address for mailing

5) If you are switching from Bulk to Management to Direct to Member partway through a year, you may want to trigger Bulk Printing first.  This way, the passes that were printed and saved for mailing will be sent to management.  If this is the case, follow the instructions in the previous section of this article.  
Important: Changes are moving forward.  Previously approved passes retain the previously selected mailing option.  Newly approved passes will have the new mailing option.
