How to ADD an EVENT

Overview

Events are schedule on a Resource.  You must add a resource first, then you will schedule events on that resource.  For example, you may have a Club House.  The Club House is a resource.  An event, like a Spring Kick-Off, Movie Night or Fall Party, are scheduled at the Club House. 

This article will walk through how to create a resource, the schedule the event at the resource.  

How to create a Resource

  1. On the Calendar page, click NEW
  2. Select Resource
  3. Enter the Name
  4. Optional: enter a Category and Description
  5. Click CREATE

Create an Event on a Resource

  1. Click the green + button
  2. Select the Resource
  3. Select Event
  4. Click CREATE
  5. On the next screen, enter the Name, Start Date and Times
  6. Click ADD
  7. Edit the Name
  8. Adjust the start and end date and times
  9. Optional: Assign additional resources
  10. Set Visibility
    1. Public: Shown on your public events calendar
    2. Private: Only the direct link can be used to sign up
    3. Internal: Only staff can see and add sign ups
  11. Click ADD
