Overview
It can be useful to create an error message.
For example, you sell a single, couple, and family membership. If the applicant selects single, only one member may be added.
Here is how
1. Use a calculation.
2. Click Generates Error.
3. Add logic to determine when the error message should trigger. i.e. return TRUE
4. The Attribute is the message the applicant will read if the error triggers. (is TRUE)
Here's what the error message will look like. This message appears if the applicant tries to submit. This form can not be submitted due to the error
Can I trigger help text prior to submitting?
Yes. You can add text that unhides while the form is being completed in addition to when the applicant tries to submit.
1. Add a Rich Text field
2. Check Initially Hidden
3. Add the calculation in the Hide/Unhide Calculation
This "Help Text" will appear if the error calculation's value is TRUE.
