FAQ: How does my community use and order a box of generic passes

Overview

A box of generic passes is used by communities that distribute classic passes to patrons in person.  The pass does not have a Name or Picture.  Patrons will scan their pass and the Name, Picture, Membership Status, etc. will appear on the check-in screen.   

What style of community uses generic passes?

A community that has an onsite manager or business office that distributes classic passes in-house.  Some use ePasses as their primary pass but have a stock of classic passes they distribute to kids or members that don't want tot bring their smart phone to the pool.    

How to design your pass

1.  Click the menu icon to click Manage Passes
2.  Select your community
3.  Edit your community name & logo


Scroll down to the Generic Passes section.
5.  Enable Generic Passes
6.  Design your pass.  Preview your pass.
7.  Add your Mailing Address including Name.  
***  Important: Click SAVE (scroll to the top)

How to order

1.  In the menu click Job Queue
2.  Click Request Generic Passes 


How do I know what pass number to start with? 

First Order
If you are unsure, ask your account representative.  
If you are a new client with a new database and have not issued any passes yet, we recommend starting with 1001.

FAQs

Is there a minimum order?

No, the price per pass and the shipping price per order is the same no matter how many passes you order.  

How much time does it take?

AGS prints and mails passes daily.  Once you confirm the final design and other details, expect your order to arrive in within 7-10 days, though it should arrive sooner.
