How to reconcile your marketplace data

Overview

You may reconcile the Marketplace data.  Reconciling the Marketplace performs several tasks in the Marketplace.
Reconciling will: 
  1. Delete all transactions (except pending transactions)
  2. Delete all open redeemables
    1. i.e delete unused guest passes or products that have not been redeemed yet.
  3. Delete empty tickets
    1. i.e. delete tickets with used guest passes, without balances, or redeemables.  
Reconciling your Marketplace is typically done after the facility closes for the season.  Communities that only sell guest passes that expire at the end of the season can reconcile the Marketplace yearly to keep it clean and organized.      

Before reconciling, two actions are recommended:
  1. Download transaction data
  2. Disable purchasing during reconciling
Prepare to Reconcile

Download Transaction Data

Go to the Marketplace. Click here to learn how
  1. Click on the Transactions tab
  2. Click Download
  3. A CSV file will download to your computer


Disable Purchasing

This will prevent patrons from starting a purchase during reconciling.
  1. Click the Settings tab
  2. Uncheck Enable Patron Purchasing
  3. Click Apply Changes

Reconcile the Marketplace

  1. Click on the Settings tab
  2. Click Reconcile
  3. Read the confirmation screen and click Reconcile
  4. If you disabled purchasing, enable it again
