Overview
In this article, we will see how to delete a resource and the effect deleting a resource can have on services.
The example we will use is a tennis ball machine. A service was created called "Lessons with Andy and Ball Machine". The ball machine is no longer available and you need to delete the resource.
Here is how
- Go to the Booking Portal Calendar page
- Click on the Resource
- Scroll down
- See the Resource action area
- Click DELETE
- On the pop-out, the amount of effected Booking will be tallied
- Click DELETE
How will this affect Services and Bookings?
If you had services that required ONLY this resources, you will want to edit the service. Either assign a new resource or uncheck "Require Available Resource". Until you take this action, patrons will not be able to book the service.

How do I know what Bookings are affected?
You may export your Bookings data. Here is how:
